  • Senior Counsel, Dispute Resolution

    Wolf is a leading internationally recognised independent arbitrator and mediator practising globally out of  London, Washington D.C and Abu Dhabi. 

    Wolf has over 30 years of experience in complex commercial disputes within international business with a particular focus on Maritime, Aviation, Defence, Technology, Cyber, Engineering/Infrastructure, Energy, Oil & Gas and Investor-State dispute resolution. Before establishing his ADR practice, he served as Legal Director and  Assistant General Counsel to Northrop Grumman Corporation and prior to this at Litton Industries Inc. During his  international career he was located in their Toronto, Zurich and London offices. 

    As Assistant General Counsel for Northrop Grumman, Wolf worked with Governments and State Agencies in over  52 countries dealing with trade, security, regulatory and investment matters, and responsible for international  disputes including arbitration, adjudication, and mediation. In that role, he has held security clearances in major  NATO countries. He is also very familiar with EU Law and the domestic Laws of most EU States, as well as being  a qualified solicitor in England and Canada. As such, he is well-versed in civil as well as common law. 

    His expert analysis has covered all types of dispute management and resolution boards, adjudication systems, ADR guidelines and Model Clauses, ADR policies and procedures, Global conflict compliance and governance programs, arbitration programs, government procurement and supply chain dispute management. He has worked extensively with ADR institutions to develop appropriate process design mechanisms for highly complex disputes including state-to-state, investor-state, and commercial matters.

    He is a well-rounded and effective international dispute resolution expert, capable of dealing with the most  complex and high-value cases. He is a thought leader in the development of investor-state mediation and  dispute risks emanating from the energy transition.

  • Nick Gogerty, Senior Strategic Advisor

    Nick Gogerty is a seasoned fintech innovator and strategic relationship builder with extensive experience across financial services, government, and technology sectors. His diverse expertise spans blockchain applications, macroeconomics, quantitative research, and innovation management. Gogerty has advised high-level executives in asset management, startups, governments, and international organizations, including the G20 working group on sustainable finance. His track record includes winning awards at the UN COP22 for a nano-grid solution and the MIT Solve competition for a blockchain healthcare solution. As Chief Analyst for a European science incubator, he oversaw the incubation and IP capture for 70 PhD projects across various fields.

    Currently, Gogerty focuses on pioneering solutions in carbon capture, removals, and accounting methodologies. He has created several innovative platforms, including 1pointfive.com, carbonfinancelab.com, and Carbonsig.com. His work extends to developing open-source initiatives like the Carbon Declaration Language. Gogerty is also the creator of SolarCoin, a global solar energy incentive program implemented in 130 countries. His thought leadership is further evidenced by his authorship of "The Nature of Value" (Columbia University Press, 2014) and his contributions as a TedX speaker on clean energy solutions. This combination of innovative thinking, strategic advisory experience, and deep domain knowledge in emerging technologies and sustainability makes Gogerty an ideal candidate for a Senior Strategic Advisor role.

  • Shahnaz Wanda, Head of Operations

    Shahnaz is a highly experienced finance and operations professional with over 19 years in both private and non-profit sectors. As Head of Operations at Cambridge Governance Labs (CGL), she brings expertise in financial management, project execution, HR, and organisational leadership. Her diverse background includes roles as company secretary and in business operations, providing a comprehensive understanding of organisational dynamics and stakeholder management.

    Shahnaz oversees operations, ensuring efficient delivery of research and training programs to enhance governance practices in developing countries. With advanced qualifications in financial planning and management accounting.

    Shahnaz's goal-oriented approach and expertise in corporate governance make her invaluable in driving CGL's mission of promoting good governance globally.

  • Dr Matthew Turnour, Senior Legal Advisor

    Dr Matthew Turnour has extensive experience in project delivery, an impressive academic history and over a decade of experience as a governance and ethics trainer. As the managing director of the firm Neumann & Turnour Lawyers (1994 to 2014) and then as executive chairman (2014 to present) he has over three decades of experience leading experts in the delivery of time-sensitive, commissioned projects. He is nationally and internationally recognised as an academic. He was admitted in 2017 to the international

    Honour Society Nu Lambda Mu by the Nonprofit Academics Center’s Council. He is an honorary Senior Fellow Melbourne Law School (ranked 6th) in the World). His PhD was recognised with an outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award and his publication list in eminent journals and books is extensive. He has served for over a decade training company directors in governance for the largest governance training organisation in the world, the Australian

    Institute of Company Directors, which has over 50,000 members. That organisation measures feedback on facilitators by participants and he maintains a score of 3.9 out of a maximum possible score of 4. He also taught both governance and ethics at Masters level and for that teaching received a Vice Chancellors Award for excellence in teaching.

  • Natascha Kersting, Senior Fellow Researcher

    Natascha Kersting is a Senior Fellow Researcher at Cambridge Governance Labs and holds additional roles as a Senior Associate for Law and Policy at EarthMedic and a Red Cross Research Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge.

    As a public international lawyer, she specializes in global governance, environmental law, human rights law, international criminal law, and international humanitarian law. Her professional experience includes work with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Zimbabwe and Algeria, and the German Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.

    Natascha's academic background is impressive, with an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge, law degrees from Panthéon-Sorbonne University and the University of Cologne, and political science diplomas from Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf.

  • Paul Harding, Research Associate

    Paul Harding is an Associate of the International Forum at Jesus College and Operations Director of Cambridge Global Conversations, an international project to promote awareness and dialogue on pressing global issues.

    The inaugural event on the ethics of climate change in 2019 generated video content that has exceeded a quarter of a million views worldwide.

    He worked in China for 13 years working for financial institutions, teaching finance under various UK university overseas programmes, and co-founding a tech company that grew to become China’s largest platform for creative tech skills training. He worked for a US analysis firm and pseudonymously authored articles for The Diplomat and in Newsweek Magazine.
